Assistant Superintendent of Special Populations
Concetta Lewis has over 25 years of successful leadership experience in non-profits, PreK-12 schools, and business organizations. Concetta is a John Maxwell Certified Leadership Coach, Teacher, Trainer, and Speaker. Concetta is currently an Assistant Superintendent of Special Populations, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with Rochester Community Schools and previously served as Executive Director and Assistant Director of Special Education with Ann Arbor Public Schools. Concetta is a Past President of the Michigan Council of Exceptional Children (MCEC), President of the Michigan Association for Administrators of Special Education (MAASE), and serves as a Member at Large for the Council for Exceptional Children. She has been awarded national fellowships by America Achieves, the NEA, and Ford’s Theater for outstanding leadership and advocacy. Concetta holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State University, a Masters of Science in Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Central Michigan University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University.
