Jessica has been working in the utility industry for over fifteen years, always focused on the customer experience, from customer service management to implementing new programs and technologies. Jessica has worked for a distribution electric cooperative, as a consultant with IBM working with the largest utilities in North America and with multiple utility technology companies.

As the State of Michigan moves toward a more carbon free agenda, the Michigan Schools Energy Cooperative (MISEC) has launched the BRITE (Bringing Renewable Innovation to Education) program to assist Michigan public schools in procuring on-site solar projects to provide more affordable electricity, reduced environmental impact, and an opportunity to showcase educational institutions as leaders in the development of renewable energy. This session will give an overview of the program, the process, and up-to-date information on the schools participating in the program. For over 20 years, MISEC has provided energy management and guidance to hundreds of districts resulting in millions of dollars in savings to invest in your students.
