Michigan E/F
21 September
Time:  12:30 pm - 1:45 pm
Location:  Michigan E/F
Speaker:  Christopher Timmis

Moving a school district to a student-centered instructional model is a monumental shift for everyone within and outside of the system. Success, failure, learning, and success is messy work but worthy of the effort on behalf of students. After 10 years of transformation in a K-12 Michigan school district, a blueprint exists to lead the work in any district by focusing on the why, what, and how. This session will share the blueprint along with lessons learned.

Focus: Teaching & Learning/Leadership Development/Other.

Takeaways: Attendees will leave with an understanding of multiple entry points for transformation, tools to lead the transformation, and ways to avoid delays and pitfalls from the work.
